Ascent Consulting, Inc. is dedicated to finding high-caliber Software Engineering Professionals for our clients based in New England. We are currently interviewing candidates for a Technical Recruiter position. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop relationships with both clients and job seekers, while conducting searches for start-ups and established organizations. The successful candidate will generate new contacts, as well as leverage our existing database and network of contacts to find suitable candidates for our pre-existing customer base.
The nature of this work is very results oriented. To be successful, you must be capable of handling rigorous demands and changing requirements. For example: You must be able to able to deal with frequently changing priorities during the day/week/month switching seamlessly between the needs of Employers, Job Seekers and Colleagues.
Requirements:
Technical, Professional-level Staffing Experience or Technical Sales Experience desired, but not required.
You should have experience working in a highly visible position with competing priorities
Excellent time management skills
Negotiation skills
No Fear of rejection
Good written and oral communication skills, since a large part of your duties will be communicating with all concerned parties over the phone, E-mail and in-person.
All levels of experience considered.
Compensation: Salary + Commission, or straight Commission – we're flexible
